Gorgeous colour, difficult to draw!! Well done :) my peony has just about lost all it's petals, they are just amazing flowers! I don't know that shop you mentioned? will look it up. We have probably created the loss of such shops in the high street, by shopping online, but the trouble with art materials is you need to see the colours and I love to just browse in such shops. I've ordered too many coloured pastels etc and when they arrive it's not what I expected :((
I know the feeling. The expectations of what you order is not always what you get. With my scraper board, I was forced to buy online when my local art shop stopped carrying it, as with various blades and papers I use. And I'm old enough too that some products I LOVED (favorite technical pens, watercolor papers, etc) aren't made any more. Waaa! When I go in to an art shop now, I feel like such a "tourist" as I buy things I fancy, not that I use every day. Weird times for sure. What will happen if we have no bricks and mortar to peruse in, feel the paper, take in the real hues? To be continued...
