A lot of nice people are buying local this year! Thanks for the support and thank you Patti Zwick for being our resident photographer as usual and documenting our booths, including mine this year.
I am admiring your work for some time already. Love the idea of using "faulty" prints collected during your "work year" and turning them in a pieces of art! Your technique reminds me of an illustrator John Lawrence. Hope you had a great time at Eastside Artist Show, and sold a lot!
Thank you both! The sale was a collective success. People really do appreciate "local" art and craft- I'm a firm believer. And my "seconds" were the first to sell...must make more mistakes next year!
Yes, indeed it was bummer timing. I was away from my studio for a few days when they decided to run the story (they interviewd me a couple months ago) and had closed the shop for the holidays- got to rest the creative energies now and again! I opened it again the next day and it remains open now.

I love John Lawrences work- most honored.
Introduced to your work through the Cedar Rapids Gazette article 12/21/2011. Disappointed to find out your Etsy store is closed! Bad timing.
