I saw a fluffy grey squirrel nipping along my back fence this morning...just out of reach of the dingo's snapping jaws! He was not quite as serene as your beautiful rendition! Until he was safely perched up in the safe magnolia, that is. Cheers to the nimble squirrels who twitch their way into our hearts.
...but this one looks so normal! What's its human counterpart name? I propose Alfred.

ReplyDeleteI did see a mutation red guy yesterday, playing with a stick! He wasn't quite "Squirrel Nutkin" red, but he was a genuine Ginger!
