Back from a SCBWI- Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators- conference and am bursting with new ideas. I am reminded it is a field of passionate people which I am glad to be part of.

Thanks for following back! I definitely think we should keep in touch. Iowa illustrators are few and far between, and I ADORE your scratch board illustrations. When I teach my intro to illustration day camp for high schoolers this summer, I think their first project will be scratch board because it is such a great medium, and they will really have to THINK about each line they make. Can't wait to see more work!

Claudia, so great to "see you" again. I met you a couple years back at the Iowa SCBWI conferences. I have been going to the ones in South Dakota.
